Numeral, a Mambu company and provider of payment technology for financial institutions, has been chosen by Argentex Group, a London-based currency risk management and alternative banking specialist, to enhance its payments and foreign exchange (FX) infrastructure.
This collaboration allows Argentex to simplify its connectivity with banks such as Barclays Bank Plc and Citi through a single integration point, covering operations across 140 currencies in the UK, EU, UAE, and Australia.
Tim Rudman, Chief Operating Officer at Argentex, commented,
“The platform’s ability to centralise banking access through a single integration significantly reduces operational complexity while enabling us to uphold the highest standards of security, control, and compliance across our global payment operations.”
The implementation of Numeral’s platform offers several advantages for Argentex, including comprehensive banking integration coverage through a single platform.
This improves payment execution efficiency across various banking partners for Swift, SEPA, and UK Faster Payments.
The platform also provides advanced reconciliation capabilities, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for cross-border payments and related FX trades.
Additionally, it supports flexible architecture that accommodates parallel instances for different regions and business units, helping maintain strict control and compliance standards.
Édouard Mandon, co-founder and CEO of Numeral, noted,

“Argentex’s sophisticated requirements leverage the full potential of the Numeral platform and expertise, from managed multi-bank connectivity to the management of settlement accounts across multiple currencies and automating FX trade reconciliations.”
